rms goes PostgreSQL
With release 2024.1, rms will support the open source database PostgreSQL from version 16 in addition to the proven Oracle DBMS. PostgreSQL offers a modern, high-performance DBMS that is widely supported, particularly in the cloud sector. Serverless instances of PostgresSQL are available from all major cloud providers, such as Amazon AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud and many others. This means that the rms risk management suite can be operated in the cloud without any problems.
