ESG scores in rms with the new credit label module
The management of environmental/social/governance (ESG) information and other credit risk-relevant scores is playing an increasingly important role in the credit process. For the flexible mapping and assignment of creditworthiness labels, rms now offers an independent module that can be flexibly tailored to the requirements of the credit process and has powerful interfaces to data providers.
The new credit label module enables, among other things
- the free configuration of any type of score and credit rating label, including the associated scales (e.g. ESG scores, CSS scores, etc.), in line with the selected data provider or in-house methodology
- Recording of score labels for all configured types at the respective business partner
- Inclusion of the labels as input parameters for the company’s individual rating methodology
- Interfaces for querying the labels from data providers (e.g. BvD Orbis ESG Score and Credit Sentiment Scores etc.) or for in-house delivery
- Automated query and further processing of the scores in the internal rating process.
